DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is a global system that measures a player’s pickleball skill level on a scale from 2.0 to 8.0, updating dynamically based on match results
KPC has elected to be a DUPR club. This means we will offer no less than four competitive activities per month that will be submitted for DUPR ratings. Being part of the DUPR system allows players to receive a more realistic rating for skill levels. KEY ASPECTS OF DUPR: 1) Dynamic and Real-Time - your rating updates automatically after each recorded match, 2) Universal - covers all ages, genders, and locations on a single 2.000 - 8.000 scale, 3) Reliability Score - a percentage (in a green circle) indicating how accurate your rating is based on match volume and recent activity, 4) How it Calculates - it considers whether you win/lose, the strength of opponents, and the margin of victory (number of points won).
In order to play DUPR events, players must have an account. This free account can be accessed at mydupr.com or via the app.

To assist in this effort, KPC has a code of conduct for members to follow.
“By brushing up on your pickleball etiquette, you become more than just a player. You become a welcome presence on the court, one who can equally entertain a newbie and challenge a veteran. This not only makes the game more enjoyable for everyone, but you might just become everyone's favorite player to boot. And who wouldn't love that?” Pickleball Etiquette: 19 Unspoken Rules for Newcomers – Paddletek Pickleball
